Police said officers entered the home and found three people inside. A woman and a boy were moved outside, but police said the third occupant, a man, got into “an altercation” with the officers.
“Two officers discharged their firearms, injuring the adult male,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
“Officers provided first aid on scene until EMS arrived and transported the male to hospital to be treated for, what appeared to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.”

Police said the incident will be investigated by the Saskatchewan Serious Incident Response Team (SIRT), a provincial police watchdog agency. (Gillian Massie/980 CJME)
