Cocaine that Turtleford RCMP says was found during a traffic stop in the RM of Frenchman Butte has led to charges for a man and a woman.
Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release on Sept. 28 that Mounties were conducting proactive patrols near Highway 21 on Sept. 24 around 10:50 p.m. when they spotted a truck driving with no lights.

During the ensuing traffic stop, police said they found the driver was prohibited from driving and noticed drug trafficking paraphernalia in plain view.
The driver and two passengers were arrested and police said officers seized 40 grams of suspected cocaine, cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
A 32-year-old man from the RM of Frenchman Butte, and 45-year-old woman from St. Walburg have been each charged with possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
The man is also facing charges of driving while prohibited and two counts of failing to comply with release order conditions.
Police said the third occupant of the vehicle was released without charge.
Nipawin woman, 19, dies after single-vehicle rollover
A 19-year-old woman from Nipawin has died after a single-vehicle rollover near Aylsham.
Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release on Sept. 28 that the crash on a grid road southeast of Aylsham was reported around 2 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Police said the woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was declared dead at the scene. Her family has been notified.
