Another 17 crimes are being added to the list of charges a Regina man is facing after two crime sprees and a murder in May.
Derrick Ewen Pasap, 27, is now charged with first-degree murder in the death of Isaiah Akachuk. Akachuk was found on the sidewalk near the Oasis Church at 14th Avenue and Reynolds Street just after midnight on May 18.
Jamie Rae Munrow, 24, was also charged in that murder.
Pasap is also charged in a crime spree from that same night, and another three days later. In each case, there were reports of guns being fired from vehicles, robberies, and people being shot. The spree on May 21 was widely reported, with police saying a grey truck may have been involved.
Pasap is charged with seven counts of attempted murder from those nights.
Donnelly Edward Nanaquatung, 26, was also charged in the drive-by shootings on May 21.
All three of them are also facing charges in a spree and chase with RCMP that happened in communities east and northeast of Regina later that same week.
Pasap made his first appearance on these new charges on Wednesday.
