Pinehouse Mounties have arrested two men, one of whom was wanted in relation to a shooting on Highway 165 in July.
In a news release on Sept. 28, Saskatchewan RCMP said 34-year-old Damion Anderson from Île-à-la-Crosse was charged on Sept. 9 with seven offences from the July 26 shooting including aggravated assault and discharging a firearm with intent but he was still at large.

RCMP had earlier said they were looking possible second victim after the shooting, which sent a man to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Then, on Sept. 26 officers in the Pinehouse detachment were told about two suspicious vehicles, one of which was reported to be driving erratically on Highway 914.
The vehicles were found in Pinehouse Lake but when Mounties activated lights and sirens they drove off. RCMP said Anderson was in one of the vehicles.
With help from offcers from the La Ronge RCMP, one of the vehicles was stopped on Highway 2 and its two occupants fled on foot. A woman was then arrested nearby and a man was arrested a couple of hours later after a police dog and drone found him in a nearby wooded area. Police said he had cannabis and cash on him during his arrest.
Beauval RCMP stopped the second vehicle on Highway 165 using a tire deflation device. Police said the passenger and driver were arrested and the vehicle they were in had been reported stolen in Meadow Lake.
Anderson is facing additional charges of fleeing police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, resisting police, possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, and possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling.
The second man arrested on Sept. 28 was a 24-year-old from Meadow Lake. He has been charged with fleeing from police, driving while prohibited, three counts of assaulting police, resisting police, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and breaching a conditional sentence order.
The two other people arrested were released, one without charge and the other pending charges, RCMP said.
Anderson and the Meadow Lake man appeared in La Ronge Provincial Court on Sept. 28.
